Members of the 2016 Alexa’s Team from the RCMP’s southeast district meet in Kelowna recently.
The group includes Cpl. Steven Schenkeveld and Cst. Jason Linde of Central Interior Traffic Services Clearwater, who together removed 53 impaired drivers from the road last year.
The team is named for Alexa Middelaer, who was killed by an alcohol impaired driver in 2008, while feeding a horse with her aunt in Delta, B.C.
