Alexis Creek, B.C. – Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has rescinded the Evacuation Alert issued on Aug. 12 to residents of the Bayliff Road area near Alexis Creek as a result of a wildfire. A total of nine mapped residences were under this alert.
People living in, or travelling through the areas that have been affected by the recent wildfires should use caution as some hazards, such as dangerous trees or hot spots may be present. Please be aware that fire suppression activities will still be underway within these areas.
