The South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidates forum for District of 100 Mile House and Cariboo Regional District (CRD) civic election hopefuls.
The forum will be held on Nov. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Valley Room at the 100 Mile Lodge, and will feature short speeches by candidates, as well as a question-and-answer period.
Both candidates for 100 Mile House mayor will be in attendance, as well as the two candidates running for the CRD Area L and CRD Area H directorate positions.
100 Mile mayoral candidates are incumbent Mitch Campsall and Maureen Pinkney, who has previously served as a CRD Area L director.
CRD Area L director candidates are incumbent Bruce Rattray and newcomer Tom Baraniak.
Candidates for CRD Area H director are Ron Lister and Margo Wagner, both first-time candidates.
Coffee and tea will be available at the meeting, which is expected to wrap up by 8:30 or 9 p.m.
