Altrusa Club supports art for children

For the third year in a row, the Altrusa Club of Campbell River is sponsoring children’s programming at the Campbell River Art Gallery.

Children’s programming includes school and community tours of Gallery exhibitions, and the Artists In the School program.

They are an enjoyable and educational way for children of all ages to learn about contemporary art.

The message to all students and their families is that the Campbell River Art Gallery is a community gallery, open to them at all times.

Altrusa’s funding assists with studio expenses, program supplies and promotion, making it possible to continue to develop children’s programming that brings the enjoyment and practice of art to school-aged children.
