Annual Victoria Dragon Boat Festival kicks off with eye dotting ceremony

A traditional Taoist eye dotting ceremony kicked off the 22nd annual Victoria Dragon Boat Festival Friday afternoon.

Interested spectators and invited guests watched as Taoist priests conducted a traditional eye dotting ceremony to launch the 22nd annual Victoria Dragon Boat Festival at Ship Point in the Inner Harbour Friday afternoon.

Races and other festival events run through the weekend. Bleachers are available for spectators to watch the races at Ship Point.
