A suspect is being sought after an armed robbery at a Vernon business.
On Monday at 8:32 a.m., the RCMP responded to a robbery at the Cash Stop on 27th Street.
“A lone suspect entered the business, produced a weapon and obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash,” said Sgt. Tory Romailler.
“The male fled on a bicycle that was recovered in the 4000 block of 27A street.”
The suspect is described as a Caucasion male and about 45 to 60 years old, with blue eyes and shorter, greying hair. He is about five-foot-10, with a slim build and he was wearing a beige fleece jacket, a dark shirt or jacket underneath, dark pants and dark shoes.
