Supper supports earthquake victims About 130 Ashcroft and Cache Creek residents attended a potluck supper last Thursday to raise money for victims of the March 11 earthquake in Japan. Ashcroft Mayor Andy Anderson read a message ot thank you from Consul General Hideki Ito, live communication was established with friends in Japan through the Internet, money was raised through donations, the sale of pins and raffles, there was dancing and singing, and everyone ate well.
