At 2:26 a.m., on March 1, police stopped a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway. The 32-year-old male driver advised police that he had not consumed alcohol that night. When asked to provide a breath sample, he claimed to have severe asthma and was unable to do so. However, the male subsequently provided two separate breath samples which indicated excessive amounts of alcohol in his body. His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle towed.
