Incumbent city councillor Sue Attrill announced she is running for re-election this fall for a fourth term.
“I love my job as a city councillor and will continue to commit the time and effort it takes to be a great team member at City Hall,” said Attrill in a release.
“We are finally at the point where we will see amazing changes in our downtown. I can’t wait to see our dreams come to fruition.”
First elected to city council in 2008, she said her record shows she has:
• Fought for housing for homeless/seniors
• Protected irreplaceable farmland
• Increased funding for police/fire
• Taken a strong business approach and avoiding debt
• Supported infrastructure improvements
