An effort to evaluate how thoroughly the Oak Bay News is reaching its readers is to be the subject of an automated telephone audit.
While the calls will come from a U.S.-based phone number, vice president of circulation Marilou Pasion, said the survey of Oak Bay households is not spam.
It’s part of a regional circulation survey for Black Press from April 3 to 10.
Respondents will be asked if they regularly receive a free copy of the Oak Bay News; those who don’t will be asked if anyone in their household has ever asked that delivery be stopped.
Live follow-up calls will be made to households where there is no answer or a hang-up. For more information, contact Pasion at 604-542-7411.
