Expect delays travelling on the Trans-Canada Highway this morning. The armed forces will be conducting avalanche control in Rogers Pass.
According to DriveBC the Trans-Canada Highway will be closed in both directions from the East Boundary of Glacier National Park to the West Boundary of Glacier national park between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. They report there will be individual closures of up to two hours.
The avalanche control comes after Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass for the second consecutive day.
