B.C. teachers head into another strike vote

Potential disruption on heels of granted government appeal

Public school teachers in the province are heading into another strike vote March 6-7.

British Columbia Teachers’ Federation cites the province’s ongoing refusal to replace class size and special needs supports back into the provincial bargaining process.

Meanwhile, government has successfully obtained its requested stay of ruling for a B.C. Supreme Court decision requiring these classroom components to be restored.
