Band telethon being broadcast in Terrace, B.C.

Money raised goes in support of Terrace band programs.

BEING broadcast live now is the annual Terrace band telethon taking place at the REM Lee Theatre.

Money raised goes in support of Terrace school band and music programs.

Special this year is a singing selection from the Glashan Public School in Ottawa.

Students from the school are in Terrace on an Encounters Canada exchange with band students from Skeena Middle School.

In turn, Skeena students will be visiting Ottawa in May.

Bands and choirs from Skeena Middle School and Caledonia Secondary are being featured.

The telethon can be seen on CityWest Channel 10 and by live stream.
