BC Transit provides consultation in lakecity

BC Transit welcomes public feedback at a series of four transit open houses on Thursday, Aug. 6 and Friday, Aug. 7.

BC Transit welcomes public feedback at a series of four transit open houses on Thursday, Aug. 6 and Friday, Aug. 7.

The sessions are being held in partnership with the City of Williams Lake, Cariboo Regional District and Williams Lake Indian Band.

BC Transit ambassadors will be on hand to obtain public input on proposed changes to transit service for the region.

This consultation builds on previous opportunities for public input in the winter of 2015 that was done through on-board surveys and open houses.

Open House Schedule

Thursday, Aug, 6

• 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Boitanio Park Bus Stop (Borland Street and Seventh Avenue)

•11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cariboo Regional District Library Suite A, 180 North Third Avenue.

• 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Boitanio Park, Performance in the Park.

Friday, Aug. 7

• 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Boitanio Park at the Farmer’s Market.
