Bear spray used on woman in Crofton

Police looking for help in finding suspects

Police responded to an incident in Crofton on June 3 where bear spray was used on a 32 year-old woman.

The suspects are described as being young men carrying backpacks, wearing hats and dark sweaters.

The woman was treated by the B.C. Ambulance Services for her injuries.

Cst. Amron Russell, a spokeswoman for the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP detachment, said the incident is still under investigation.

“No other details will be released at this time,” she said.
