Amelia Nimmon, 9, makes sure her beautifully decorated zucchini is just right before sending it down the track in the Zucchini Grand Prix at the Quadra Fall Fair last Sunday. Amelia, along with her sister Juliette Nimmon, 7, won the fastest and farthest zucchini race and got to take home a big chocolate cake for their efforts. The second annual fall fair included a dog show, live performers, a dunk tank, food vendors, petting zoos, bike demos, and a People’s Choice Awards.
