Big Wheels Staff at Thrifty Foods Colwood location pull into the final stop of the Big Bike campaign on Friday. The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s biggest community fundraiser on Vancouver Island, the June 8 Bike rides raised $20,000 from eight teams of riders in Langford alone. Island-wide, the campaign hopes to raise $400,000 to put toward research into heart disease and strokes, as well as programs promoting health.
