A group of dedicated volunteers braved the cold for the annual Christmas Bird Count.

The group counted birds within a 15 mile radius in the Salmon Arm area.

From Peter Jannink Nature Park the group were able to see two bald eagles and an owl amongst other species. They also spied a coyote walking across the frozen Salmon Arm Bay.
