City staff is about ready for construction to get started on the revitalized washroom facilities for Blackburn Park.
When questioned about the park and when there would be progress on the construction of new washrooms at the park, city engineering and public works director Dale McTaggart said that the preload currently covering a segment of the field had been retested by geotechnical engineers, and that work would soon begin on the foundation.
The project is expected to cost $275,000.
