A body was discovered in Downtown Mission early this morning (Nov. 28).
Mission RCMP had a portion of the back alley – between First and Second Avenues, by James Street – blocked off as they investigated the scene.
While details are scarce at this time, police said it appears to be the body of a homeless man.
“At this time, foul play does not appear to be involved,” said Mission RCMP Staff Sgt. Steve Crawford.
The coronor has attended the scene.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of death.
