Police say the body of a man missing since Jan. 26 has been found.
In a brief statement Friday evening, the New Denver RCMP said the cause of the man’s death is not considered suspicious and the coroners service is still investigating.
Police would not confirm further details Saturday, including whether the body is that of missing Winlaw man Ty Larstone, 32, last seen carrying a camouflage backpack with two firearms at approximately 1 p.m. on Jan. 26.
