A snowfall warning continues today (Sunday) for the eastern Fraser Valley, with accumulations of between five and 10 centimetres expected, according to Environment Canada.
The snow is expected to end this afternoon and then become cloudy but pick up again around midnight.
Another two to four centimetres are expected overnight.
Periods of snow will continue tomorrow, with up to five centimetres falling, says Environment Canada.
There are periods of snow in the forecast, in smaller amounts, through Friday.
As of 4 p.m. yesterday, Environment Canada was reporting that 38 centimetres of snow had fallen at Abbotsford Airport since Friday afternoon.
All campuses of University of the Fraser Valley are closed and all activities are cancelled for today and Monday.
All Abbotsford public schools and district buildings will also be closed on Monday, as will all private schools.
Meanwhile, flights to and from Abbotsford Airport have not been affected, with no delays shown on arrivals and departures, as of 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
