Big fuel theft
Wednesday at 9:43 a.m. a theft of aproximately 600 litres of fuel from a logging operation was called in. Info about this or other thefts to police is appreciated.
House egged
Thursday afternoon a complaint of a house on Redfern Dr. being egged. This is the second time in the past two weeks. Info from the public is being asked.
Car crash
A single vehicle accident was reported at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday at McCall Rd. and Hwy. 16. The driver was treated for minor injuries.
Mental health
Police were called for a suicidal person Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. The person was taken to hospital by police for assessment.
Wednesday at 1:20 a.m. someone called police to say a family member texted them that they’d taken lots of drugs and alcohol with the intent to self harm. Police attended and got the person to treatment.
The same day at 3:20 p.m. a separate report of a suicidal person who had taken medication and alcohol saw police attend and take that person to hospital.
