Broken fire hydrant causes flood in Princeton neighbourhood

A driver failed to report that his or her car collided with a fire hydrant at Tulameen Avenue and Aspen Street on March 18.

A driver failed to report that his or her car collided with a fire hydrant at the corner of Tulameen Avenue and Aspen Street in the early morning hours on March 18.

As a result of the collision, the fire hydrant was ruptured, flooding the street and causing damage to residential property in the area.

It was later shut off by a town worker.

The Princeton RCMP are asking anyone with information to call the detachment at 250-295-6911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
