A number of flags in town, including the large flag at Tech North Solutions, have be lowered to half-mast in recognition of the devastating tragedy that occurred at the Babine Forest Products sawmill on Jan. 20, 2012.
While the community is still coming to terms with the loss of life, multiple injured workers and the destruction of a major employer, several initiatives are now underway to try and help the displaced workers and the local economy.
