All-candidates meetings coming around Cowichan

With municipal election day getting closer, various groups are organizing all-candidates meetings.

North Cowichan voters can attend a session on Monday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crofton Community Centre, or another one the following night, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Maple Bay Fire Hall, hosted by the Maple Bay Community Association.

Area C voters can hear their candidates at a session at the Cobble Hill Community Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.

Sahtlam residents can do the same at their firehall on Cowichan Lake Road on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in a meeting organized by the Sahtlam Neighbourhood Association.

Other Area E voters can attend all-candidates meetings on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Glenora Community Hall at 7 p.m.

The Quamichan Lake Neighbourhood Association is holding an all-candidates meeting featuring the candidates for North Cowichan council.

This forum will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. at the Duncan Community Lodge (the old Moose Lodge).

The Duncan BIA is holding an early morning all-candidates meeting Thursday, Oct. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. so busy folks can hear those vying for Duncan city council. This is for BIA members only.

This meeting will be held at the Adagé Dance Studio at 156B Government St. in downtown Duncan.
