On June 14, members of the C.I.B.C. Wood Gundy Group presented a cheque for $10,000 to Nak’albun School in Fort St. James.

Investment Advisors Mark Collins and Chris Lewis both made the trip from Kamloops to present the cheque to the school’s principal, Cheryl Jones-Large.

On behalf of the Wood Gundy Group, a branch of C.I.B.C., Collins and Lewis were thrilled to be in Fort St. James.

“It’s all about making a meaningful difference and supporting children. That’s why we’re here,” Lewis said.

The donation is aimed at supporting children under 14 years.

C.I.B.C. manager from Fort St. James, Linda MacLean, was also on hand to present the donation.

“I love that C.I.B.C. gives back to our community,” MacLean said.

“We like to support our town and it feels good to be able to do that.”
