The Camosun Community Association holds its annual general meeting Thursday, Jan. 19.

“We want to widen our reach, get people a little more interested in what the community associations are doing,” said director at large Yves Bajard.

From food security and affordable housing, to transit and the Douglas Street corridor, Bajard said the community association is looking for passionate new members who have an interest in any issue relating to the community.

The AGM will be held at 7 p.m. in Room 227 at Camosun College’s Lansdowne campus. There will be a presentation on the Bowker Creek blueprint at the meeting.
