Soaring temperatures and national pride made for a wonderful national birthday celebration in Campbell River. Races, fishing derbies, skateboard competition, children’s festival, a parade, birthday cake, and music galore were all topped off with the spectacular Quality Foods Festival of Lights fireworks down at Robert Ostler Park.
