The Canada 150 Selfie Scavenger Hunt is happening right now in the community of Barriere and area. The hunt is open to everyone and runs from June 10 – 28, 2017.
The rules are simple; just take selfie pictures around Barriere (with some a little ways out of the municiplaity) of everything on the list below, then email them to this address: emonteith@barriere.ca
You are required to use a cell phone to capture your photographs, then size them down properly for emailing, with a number, your name and your email address.
Each item that you take a selfie at on the list below will be worth one point. The people who earn 15 or more points will have their name entered into a draw for the grand prize of $200.
Taking selfie pictures might have you speaking to and dealing with strangers. It is important to be kind and respectful, and please make sure you have their permission to take the photograph with the in it first.
The Selfie Scavenger Hunt was launched at the Big Barriere Block Party on June 10, and the final day to submit your selfie photographs is Wednesday, June 28.
Don’t wait to send in all your selfies at once. Send in each picture when you take it to the email address above.
The selfies do not have to be taken in the order they are listed.
The right to reuse the pictures will become the property of The District of Barriere.
MOST IMPORTANTLY don’t forget you are taking selfies! This means you must make sure you are also shown in each photograph or you picture cannot be accepted.
