A 32 year old Kelowna man received multiple non-life threatening stab wounds on Canada Day near a convenience store on Rutland Road.
Just minutes before midnight July 1, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a stabbing at the Macs Convenience Store, 1007 Ruland Road North.
“Apparently, the suspect had been standing outside the Macs where he attacked the Kelowna man,” said Const. Kris Clark.
“Immediately after the attack, the suspect fled on foot. The Kelowna man was taken to the hospital with seemingly non-life threatening injuries. The attack appears to have been targeted.”
The suspect is described as a man in his late 30s, 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds with short brown hair and a scruffy face.
