Canadian country sensation Terri Clark rocked Abbotsford on Friday night (March 8) as she brought her “Classics” tour to the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.
A crowd of about 1,800 came out to cheer on the Alberta native as she performed hit after hit.
With more than four million albums sold and a dozen top-10 hits to her credit, Clark has emerged as a must see on the Canadian country music scene.
She is an eight-time, fan-voted Canadian Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year and multiple Juno winner.
Clark exploded onto the country music scene in the mid-1990s with her own unique style (which some call “turbo traditional”) and she has a long list of hits, including Better Things To Do and When Boy Meets Girl.
In 2009, Clark released Long Way Home, which produced a number of hit singles including the foot stomping Gypsy Boots and If You Want Fire.
Classic is her latest recording. It is a collection of her favourite country songs and the album features many guest performers including Reba, Dierks Bentley, Jann Arden and Dean Brody.
