The Holy Grail of Canadian football was back in Kelowna Tuesday afternoon. The Grey Cup was on display for three hours at the Apple Bowl and anyone who showed up could have their photograph taken with it. The cup was here as part of the its 100th anniversary train tour across the country. The tour kicked off in Vancouver Sunday. The three rail cars the cup is travelling on as it makes it way to Toronto for the 100th Grey Cup game there in November make up a miniture, mobile CFL hall of fame. For communities not on the main VIA Rail train tracks, side trips are being made where the cup is driven by van to make appearances, such as the one in Kelowna Tuesday afternoon. The cup keepers who travel with the van, take the photos and e-mail them to the people who show up. The cup will be in Kamloops Wednesday and the next train stop will be in Jasper on Thursday. Sharon and Steph Dixon, Saskatchewan Roughrider fans, drove from Castlegar to Kelowna Tuesday to have their picture taken with the Grey Cup during the cup's stop here as part of its 100th anniversary train (and van) tour across the country.
