Canadian Forces base lets civilians take a look around

CFMETR held its annual open house on Saturday at Nanoose Bay

Armed forces base CFMETR held its annual open house on Saturday at Nanoose Bay.

The Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges opened their gates to the public and hundreds of carloads of people stopped by to take a look around.

Visitors were invited to explore the site, board vessels and ask questions about the base and its operations.
