Greater Victoria residents will get the chance to see where candidates in their riding stand on key provincial election issues during a listening session this week.
Candidates from seven Greater Victoria ridings, including Victoria-Beacon Hill, Victoria-Swan Lake and Esquimalt-Metchosin have been invited to the session on March 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Victoria Conference Centre.
Topics include housing affordability, mental health and addictions services, sewage treatment, creating a regional transportation commission, and developing Ogden Point and establishing Victoria as a home port.
The event, moderated by CBC’s Gregor Craigie, is being put on by the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, the City of Victoria, the Downtown Victoria Business Association, Tourism Victoria, and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority.
