Tow truck operators removed a car that went over an embankment and into the yard of a home at 440 Prideaux St. in Nanaimo on Wednesday afternoon.
Witnesses said the male driver lost control of the vehicle while pulling away from the curb shortly after he started the car at about 2:30 p.m.
The porch of the home suffered minor damage. No one in the home was hurt and there was no word on injuries to the driver.
