Castlegar Canada Day events attract crowds

A day of festivities kept people excited and well fed.

Castlegar came out dressed in red and white and sporting flags of all shapes and sizes to celebrate Canada Day. About 300 people started the day with a pancake breakfast at the Station Museum and hundreds more participated in activities at Millennium Park including a volley ball tournament, swimming at the ponds, free hot dogs and cake and an outdoor movie. On-site vendors and the park concession made sure there were lots of tasty treats flowing all around.
