Cause of early morning fire suspected to be arson: police

White Rock Mounties say arson is behind a fire that damaged a vacant building Saturday morning.

On March 11, at around 12:30 a.m., police were called to assist the White Rock Fire Department with a vacant residential structure fire in the 1000 block of Stevens Street.

Police have received information about a vehicle of interest, and the investigation is ongoing, RCMP Const. Chantal Sears said in a press release.
