Nelson Scots young and old were at the Eagles Hall on Saturday night to celebrate Scottish bard Robbie Burns.

The Kootenay Kiltie Pipe Band began sponsoring the event in 1921 and have been bringing the community together at the Eagles Hall ever since.

The evenings events included music from the band, the address to the haggis, feasting, drinking, dancing and of course a tribute to Burns by Neil Harrower.
