The election of board of directors of the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is March 4

Nomination forms are now available for those wanting to run for the board of directors for the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce.

Deadline to file is before 4 p.m. Feb. 18. The forms can be downloaded HERE.

There are nine seats up for grabs and all are two-year terms.

Applicants must be chamber members in good standing and the expectations include attending 10 chamber meetings a year and exercise best efforts to be present at special events like the Business Excellence Awards, the Mayor’s Nominee Reception, golf tournament and the annual general meeting.

The election of the directors takes place at this year’s AGM on March 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 at the Shatford Centre. Those members unable to attend should contact the chamber to request a proxy form or simply vote early.

Among those running this time around is current president Nicole Clark.

Results will be announced in the following days.

Following the AGM there will be a Speed Networking workshop designed to enable participants to make new connections through one-on-one, focused conversations.

It runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
