Police are searching for a potentially violent suspect of a home invasion that happened last weekend.
The incident happened Sunday on the 2000 block of East Wellington Road when three men were assaulted and tied up with duct tape by five men who searched their home. One of the victims suffered a minor head injury.
Three of the suspects were arrested later that day and a fourth suspect was taken into custody Tuesday.
Kevin Douglas Demmons, 30, Pierre Gino Duidotti, 39, Dustin Harold Hagg, 22, and Colin Daniel Crisp, 22, remain in custody and have each been charged with break and enter, unlawful confinement and three counts of assault and were scheduled to appear in Nanaimo provincial court Thursday.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ryan Gregory Loucks, 39, who is still at large and wanted on the same charges.
Loucks is Caucasian, 5’9″ tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has short brown hair, blue eyes and has a tattoo of a demon on his right forearm and a tattoo of a skull on his left arm.
Police warn that Loucks has shown he is capable of violence and allegedly produced a firearm during the home invasion, which has not been recovered and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who knows Loucks’ whereabouts is warned not to approach him, but to call 911 or Crime Stoppers immediately at 1-800-222-8477.
