Charlotte clinic to be closed for one day

The Queen Charlotte clinic will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 3 so that staff and physicians can hold a professional training day. The clinic will re-open on Oct. 4. Northern Health communications officer Jonathan Dyck said training days like this happen regularly. Northern Health wants to make sure members of the public know the clinic will be closed for that day. People who need emergency attention can call 1-800-461-9911 or go directly to the hospital’s emergency department. People who need health advice can also call HealthLink BC at 811, or visit www.HealthLinkBC.ca for non-emergency health information from nurses, dietitians and pharmacists 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
