The community came together in a big way this past Sunday when the Charters River Salmon Interpretive Centre opened its doors for a public dedication celebration. The celebration was organized to show appreciation for the many government agencies, non-profit organizations, individuals, corporate donors, businesses and volunteers who helped make this centre a reality.
The day’s events included a tour of the buildings, speeches, a feast shared by all in attendance and genuine old-fashioned spirit of neighbourliness.
