Cherryville children have a new place to hang out and have fun.
A new playground has been unveiled at Hanson Park, with $10,000 coming from the White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee and the remainder raised by the community.
“There is a group of young moms and dads out there,” said Tannis Nelson, manager of community services.
“They did it in a fairly quick fashion — about nine to 12 months.”
