Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 58 calls for service from September 30th, 8 a.m. till October 2nd, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, seven people were lodged in Terrace cells – six of these people were lodged for intoxication.
Downtown Terrace
A grey GMC Sierra and a black Ford F150 collided in the parking lot of Safeway. Police spoke with the people involved. No injuries and minor damage to both vehicles.
Theft of an aerosol can at a business in the Skeena Mall. The thief then abused the solvent in the washroom. Police spoke with the people involved.
A wallet was found near the Skeena Mall. The owner was notified.
Intoxicated man passed out in the washroom of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police spoke with a man who was mostly sober and used the washroom. No issues.
Possible impaired driver in the Save On Foods parking lot. Police spoke with a man. His vehicle had malfunctioned. It was towed.
Man sleeping in the TD Bank ATM lobby.
Intoxicated man passed out in the washroom of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. He left prior to police attendance. Checks of the area were done.
Well-being check. The woman was fine.
A green Mazda 2 rear ended a beige Toyota Camry that was stopped for traffic at Lakelse Ave./Sparks St. The Toyota struck a black Chevrolet Cruze that was stopped in front. Extensive damage to the Mazda and it was towed. Minor damage to the Toyota and Cruze. No injuries.
Police assisted Ministry of Children and Families with an apprehension.
Police observed an intoxicated man stumbling down Emerson St. Police arrested a 41-year-old man.
Hang up 911 call. Police conducted checks and spoke with a person who was fine.
Elsewhere Terrace
Warrant execution for the Nass Valley RCMP.
Drug information received.
Harassment and threats complaint. Under investigation.
A blue Ford F150 was pulled over on Hwy 16 east of Terrace for going 123 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone. The driver was suspended from driving and did not have a valid driver’s licence. A child was not in a proper booster seat. The vehicle was impounded. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
A person abused solvents in the washroom of a business on Hwy 16. Police have requested the assistance of Northern Mental Health.
Man passed out in the Public Health Building on Kalum St. Police arrested a 69-year-old man.
Out of control girl throwing furniture and food. Police apprehended a 14-year-old girl under the Mental Health Act and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital.
A Seiko watch was found at Christy Park on Sparks St.
A woman stole an aerosol can from a business on Hwy 16.
False residential alarm on Gordon Dr.
911 hang up call from a cell phone in the area of Straume Ave. Checks were done.
Intoxicated man walking on Keith Ave./Tetrault St. falling down. Checks were done of the area.
Intoxicated man in the parking lot of Mills Memorial Hospital. Police assisted the man in getting medical attention.
Man and woman arguing at the college on McConnell Ave. Checks were done of the area.
Fight in progress at the NWCC. Checks of the area were done.
Man passed out on Hall St. Police arrested a 41-year-old man.
A man got into an unlocked GMC truck parked on Agar Ave. He fled when confronted by the owner of the truck.
Suicidal 21-year-old woman. Police apprehended the woman under the Mental Health and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital.
AWOL 23-year-old patient at Mills Memorial Hospital. Police located the woman at Mills Memorial Hospital. A resolution was reached with the woman and she was returned to the part of the hospital she was missing from.
Theft of tools. Further details could not be obtained.
A woman causing a disturbance on Davis Ave. Police spoke with the people involved. It was a dispute over property. A resolution was reached.
Assist Department of Fisheries with document service.
A warrant was issued for a 19-year-old man for failing to attend court.
AWOL patient from Mills Memorial Hospital. Police located the 21-year-old woman and apprehended her under the Mental Health Act and returned her to the hospital.
Hit and run to a red 2005 Pontiac Sunfire parked at the Creative Zone. Damage was minimal.
Intoxicated man crawling around George Little Park. Police spoke with a man who had a medical condition and needed to crawl to a bench to rest. No issues.
A person let a friend into his residence to use his laptop. When he returned later in the day, the friend and laptop were gone. The laptop is described as a navy blue Asus laptop. The incident occurred in July.
A man sitting on Kalum St./Scott Ave with a bottle of booze on the ground beside him. Police spoke with the man and dumped the alcohol.
Assist an agency with an uncooperative client.
Assist BC Ambulance with a patient on Walker St.
A fight with threats on Kalum St. Police attended and spoke with numerous people inside of the residence. No issues. A short time later police were called back. BC Ambulance transported a 35-year-old man to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police arrested a 28-year-old man.
Thornhill
A white 2005 Hyundai Elantra tailgating on Hwy 37 south. Police spoke with the people involved.
A grey Chevrolet Avalanche with a broken passenger side rear window being driving in an erratic manner on River Dr. Checks of the area were done.
An almost collision on Hwy 16 east.
A man trying to get a woman off of Hwy 16 in front of the Northern Motor Inn. Police located a man in the area who was attempting to assist an intoxicated woman but she fled. The 23-year-old woman was eventually located in the bushes near the Northern Motor Inn and arrested.
Erratic driver in a black 2008 Honda Civic on Krumm Rd.

Neighbour’s dogs chasing children getting off the school bus. Police spoke with the people involved.
Dispute. Police spoke with a person.
Domestic situation. Under investigation.
False residential alarm on Pat Roy Rd.
Gitaus
Intoxicated suicidal 23-year-old woman. Police apprehended her under the Mental Health Act and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital.
Intoxicated man causing a disturbance. Police arrested a 36-year-old man.
