Around 15 people were part of Life Chain – a peaceful protest conveying the message that unborn human life has value and that adoption is a loving option – which took to the streets of Castlegar on Sunday near Canadian Tire.
There was a similar protest in Trail on Saturday.
“We want to stand up for the rights of unborn children,” said protester Marty Makway. “There’s a better way than abortion. Adoption is a loving option. Every life has value whether it’s in the womb or born.”
