Clearwater Rotary Club is once again organizing the annual Christmas Tree Light-Up to be held at Wells Gray Infocentre, club members report.
This year there will be a difference, however. The first annual Clearwater Light-Up Market will precede the Light-up event.
Both events will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Infocentre. The Light-Up will be 5 – 8 p.m. while the market will occur 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
As in previous years, the Light-Up will include story-telling, cookie decorating, music and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.
Suggested items for sale at the market would be homemade handcrafts, jam, food, Christmas tree decorations and anything that buyers could use for Christmas or wintertime.
Vendors need to bring their own tables and canopies, and should decorate their booths with plenty of lights.
Power will be sponsored by District of Clearwater. There is no charge to have a booth, but prospective vendors should register beforehand.
For more information about the market, phone Ursula at 250-674-3115, email wgair@sschaer.org, or ask any Rotary member.
