Christy Clark will wrap the BC Liberals’ 2017 election campaign with a rally Monday evening in Abbotsford.
Fourteen hours before polls open across British Columbia, Clark will be joined on stage by seven Fraser Valley BC Liberal candidates at an event at the Quality Hotel Conference Centre.
While Clark has spent much of the campaign in ridings where her party is in a pitched battle with the NDP, her party likely decided to return to Abbotsford – a BC Liberal stronghold – for a final show of strength and support prior to election day.
Clark’s day will begin with stops in Richmond and Courtenay, prior to her arrival in Abbotsford at 6 p.m. She will be joined on stage by candidates Simon Gibson, Darryl Plecas, Mike de Jong, John Martin, Laurie Throness, Mary Polak and Rich Coleman. All seven are incumbents.
