The City of Colwood has released a second draft of its Official Community Plan (OCP) for public input.
Based on bylaw 1700, which requires public input before it can proceed, the new plan will be presented to council on Tuesday Feb. 13.
The OCP has been in the works since October 2016 when the City asked for community input for a new plan. During the next eight months, until May 2017, more than 1,400 residents and stakeholders shared ideas about their vision for Colwood.
These ideas were presented for first review in June 2017 to ensure they did in fact reflect the community’s input, which became the foundation for the new plan.
People can email comments about the second draft of the OCP to planning@colwood.ca or submit them in person at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Rd. Draft two of the plan can be found at bit.ly/2nW2Rfg.
