The City of Grand Forks’ economic development advisory committee is working to complete a request for proposals (RFP) for city branding that will be available for council’s approval in August.
Coun. Bob Kendel noted that the development committee would be seeking advice from the public about city branding if the proposal is approved.
“Once it’s approved it will be ready to go out for tenders for the end of September,” he said.
Kendel pointed out that the committee hopes to have all applications and recommendations in by winter.
From there, they hope to sort through and implement any plans by spring next year.
The branding proposal is part of the committee’s efforts to boost Grand Forks identity within the Boundary area and the province.
